We use our community garden to provide a supportive space for people affected by homelessness to rebuild wellbeing, independence and lasting connections.
To help fund our project, we offer a veg box scheme, seasonal flower subscription service, alongside seasonal produce, events and workshops. Growing People.
As an organisation, we improve health and wellbeing for vulnerable adults with complex needs, primarily those who are homeless and rough sleeping, but also to those who are struggling with social isolation and their mental health. The project encapsulates our key values of building confidence, growing community and developing skills.

Root Connections is key to the support and care provided to residents of the Dairy House, a direct-access homeless shelter which is also situated on Manor Farm. By offering creative, social and therapeutic pathways to residents, our project reconnects vulnerable adults with complex needs to community life.

We need your help…
We urgently need to raise £18,500 to help us to complete work on our Community Hub. This will be an all-year-round, heated space that will bring individuals and the community together in all weathers. It is our wish to reach more of the community who need us with a space where people can attend courses, workshops, make friends and just be together.
