Veg Boxes

We deliver weekly or fortnightly deliveries of fresh, seasonal, chemical free veg boxes, produce & cut flowers free-of-charge to your door.

Our seasonal veg boxes & cut flowers will change each week, as the growing season gets underway. There will be a minimum of eight items in your veg bag & will typically look something like the following:

• Cabbage x 1

• Garlic bulb x 1

• Salad bag

• Cucumber x 1

• Tomatoes x 6

This will be a mix of organically grown by ourselves & bought in from other local social enterprises - to supplement where necessary.

Boxes cost £17 - with free delivery. We deliver within a 12 mile radius of BA3 4QF. See more info about delivery here.

Please note: Our ordering cut off is midnight the Thursday prior to delivery on a Thursday and Friday the following week.

 We value local, ethical and chemical-free growing principles for our veggie box scheme.

Our community garden has a significant number of committed volunteers who help grow the produce that enables us to fulfil our mission. All profits and proceeds go towards our aim to end homelessness across the Mendips & Somerset.

Plastic

The only plastic we use is for our salad bags & these can be washed out & reused. We offer a weekly & fortnightly repeat subscription on veg & cut flowers, with flexibility to take a holiday/break or cancel at any time.

Our veg & flowers are grown to Organic principles – without the use of chemicals or pesticides & we only use Organic compost & seed.

Fresh that day

More often than not the veg & flowers will have been picked & packed by our residents & volunteers the morning of your collection day; fresh & packed with flavour & nutrition.

We supply the veg in open cardboard boxes to protect contents - which can be returned, just leave them in a dry place & our volunteers will collect, bring back & re-use.
